Privacy Policy

The Build Learning apps are made for children, so we collect as little as possible and we say plainly what we do collect. This policy covers the Build Learning apps (BuildReading and BuildMath) and the website at buildlearningkids.com, operated by Benjamin 23 Blue Enterprise LLC ("we").

What we collect from children

• A first name (optional). A child or grown-up may type a first name so the app and certificates can use it. It can be skipped. We never ask a child for a last name, email, phone number, photo, or location.
• Learning progress. Which word families were played, stars earned, words answered right or wrong, and daily streaks. We use this only to run the app: unlocking levels, reviews, and progress screens.

Without an account, all of this stays on the device. It reaches our servers only when a parent creates an account and progress sync turns on.

What we collect from parents

• Email address and password when a parent creates a free account. Passwords are stored hashed. We use the email to sign the parent in and, if they choose, to send progress updates.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell or rent personal information, ever.
• We do not show third-party behavioral advertising to children.
• We do not use third-party analytics trackers inside the child experience.
• We do not allow children to communicate with other users or share content publicly.

Where data lives

Synced data is stored with our database provider (Turso) and our hosting provider (Vercel), encrypted in transit. Audio and images in the app are our own content and involve no data collection.

Parents are in control

A parent can ask us to show, correct, or delete their account and their child's synced data at any time. Email us at hello@buildlearningkids.com and we will act on it promptly. Deleting the app removes all on-device data.

Purchases

The child experience contains no purchases and no ads. Plans (Family, Family Plus, Teacher) are bought by adults on our website through Stripe, never inside a lesson; we never see or store card numbers. Prices, renewals and refunds are in our Terms of Service.

Sharing with other parents

The website has a Share button for grown-ups. It loads one small script from our own server (growth.grademyhabits.com). It sends no counts and no identifiers, and keeps no cookie, referral code or device ID. It asks a grown-up a quick question before it opens the share sheet, and it shares only a plain link to the page.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes affecting children's data will be communicated to account holders by email.
