Build Learning (BuildReading, BuildMath, BuildWrite) · Effective September 6, 2026

These are the plain-English rules for using Build Learning at buildlearningkids.com and in the BuildReading, BuildMath and BuildWrite apps. Build Learning is made by Benjamin 23 Blue Enterprise LLC ("we", "us"). By using the apps or buying a plan you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the apps.

1. Who can use Build Learning

The apps are for children ages 5 to 12, used with a parent, guardian, teacher or tutor. Accounts and purchases are made by adults only. A child never needs an email, a password or a payment method. If you make an account, you confirm you are at least 18 and are the parent or guardian of the children on it, or a teacher or tutor with the right to use it for the students on it.

2. What is free and what is paid

The first 3 lessons in each app are free, forever, with the teaching voice, the stories, Daily Review and the first printable certificate. No account is needed to play them. Everything past lesson 3 needs a plan.

PlanPriceWho it is forIncludes
Family$9.99 a month or $79 a yearOne household, up to 2 kid profilesEvery lesson in all three apps, a certificate for every lesson, the voice says your child's name, the Sunday progress email, up to 5 devices
Family Plus$14.99 a month or $119 a yearOne household, up to 4 kid profilesEverything in Family
Teacher$99 a yearOne classroom, up to 35 students, up to 40 school devicesEvery lesson in all three apps during school hours (7 am to 5 pm), the class dashboard, the Sunday class report, Assign a Lesson, certificates with the teacher's name

Prices are in US dollars and may change; a change never affects a plan you have already paid for until it renews, and we will tell you before a renewal at a new price. Tutors with up to 4 children use Family or Family Plus; five or more use Teacher.

3. Billing and renewals

4. Refunds

Family and Family Plus: a full refund within 7 days of the purchase, no questions asked, as long as fewer than four paid lessons have been completed on the account since you subscribed. After that, the plan is non-refundable for the current period; cancel and it simply stops renewing.

Teacher: a full refund within 7 days of the purchase, no questions asked.

To ask for a refund, email hello@buildlearningkids.com from the account email. Refunds go back to the card that paid.

5. Your account and the rules for sharing

6. Children and classrooms

Children use the apps with a first name only. Teachers add student first names to a roster; students never get a login, an email or a password. A teacher may only add students they teach and must remove students who leave the class. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we store and what we never collect. Nothing a child does in the apps is ever sold, advertised against, or shared with anyone but the adult on the account.

7. What you can print and keep

Certificates, printables, Class Battle and the mini books a child writes are yours to print and keep at home or in your classroom. Please do not sell them or post them as your own product.

8. Our promises and their limits

We work hard to keep the apps up and the voice working, but we cannot promise they will never be down, and we do not promise any particular learning result. The apps are a teaching tool, not a substitute for a school, a reading specialist or a doctor. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Changes to the apps or these terms

We add lessons and features often, and we may retire a feature that is not working. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will post the new date at the top of this page and, for paying accounts, email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the apps after that means you accept the change.

10. Closing your account

You can delete your account and every bit of progress on it at any time at Delete My Account. Deleting an account cancels any plan on it.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. If we have a disagreement, email us first and we will do our honest best to sort it out. Anything that cannot be sorted out that way goes to the courts of Texas.
